The Story of Captain Scotty Smiley

In the Spring of 2005, young Captain from the US army, Captain Scotty Smiley was injured in battle.  A car bomb exploded close to him, and although he survived, he lost his eyesight.  The Army wanted to put him on Medical retirement, but he let them understand, that will be the day.

  • He stayed with the army and worked on his physical condition.
  • He earned an MBA and teaches leadership studies.
  • He heads the Transition unit for injured soldiers.
  • He got married to a beautiful wife
  • He has two sons (Which he will never see, but love)
  • He is the author of a book called “Hope unseen”
